The mystery of the storyline in ECCO was very intriguing and kept me engaged. The cinematography was especially captivating. The performances by the three main actors had nuances that didn't just give away the story or the twists. Additionally, I appreciated seeing different faces on screen than the normal ones in a genre like this because it leads one to think that these people could be anyone.

This movie deserves praise just on how gorgeous everything looks, but beyond that it's an intriguing story that keeps you thinking until the very end. Michael's character comes into view in a very unexpected way. I'm sure watching this again will reveal so many more clues along the way.

You really NEED to pay attention to this film to understand its excellence. If you go into it thinking it's going to be a Hobbs & Shaw type film you will be confused. Open up your mind to this beautiful piece of art.
