Plot summary

17-year-old Carly is navigating high school and a less than stable home life in the late 90's. When she initiates a furtive relationship with her best friend's dad Wayne, she thinks she has found her way into adulthood. When Wayne attempts to end the affair, Carly reveals their secret, causing Wayne's life to implode, and changing their lives forever.
