Enjoyed this one, no special effects or million dollar budget but good acting and a good story. The guy who plays Al steals every scene he's on, real joy to watch.

Great indy film
Take the risk!
It's about a graphic novelist, currently unpublished and uninterested in pursuing his dreams, because, just like the majority of the world, he's weighed down by the feet by an unemotional and hard nosed arrogant boss named Kyle. Feeling he's spending his life at a dead end job, his friend decides to open his mind to taking the 50,000 dollars he inherited when his mom passed away, and open up their own business. They want to run a pizzeria/bowling alley, the same one they used to go to when they were kids. Long abandoned, its going to take a lot of money and hard work to put this place back on the map. The viewer watches and roots for the underdog, and we watch hoping his funds don't run out, or hope that the business wasn't a bust. A film that reminds us and encourages us to take the risk, take a stand, and pursue your dreams. Even if it doesn't work out, you're a hero for trying. If it wasn't for all the F bombs, I'd say that this was a great family film.
Funny & heartfelt movie worth watching
Got to catch Phoenix, Oregon when it screened in SF recently. What a delightful movie. The acting is great, the storyline is heart-felt without being too sentimental, and there are a cast of unexpected characters that are funny and believable. Go see it in theatre or catch it when it comes to Netflix!
