The early 90s version of an action movie - non stop gunfire and fights. One very good reason to watch this series is that any movie after this seems to be excellent. The only saving grace are some really old wisecracks from Jason Statham. Skip it, if you need to.

I saw The Expendables II this morning at a pré screening. What can I tell you about this movie. Firstly, it's really action packed. You're blasted off in the first few minutes leading up to the actual story. Obviously, this is not a film with a great script or impressive acting.However, the story works well for what it's supposed to do! It is greatly entertaining if you are looking for an action packed movie loaded with iconic action stars like Stallone,Willis and many more. The addition of Chuck Norris and van Damme to the cast worked out well. It's really good to see Chuck Norris in action again and he really pulls it off! I expect that the people who will like this movie most will be the fans of the old guard like Stallone, Schwwarzennegger and Norris and the other cast members. Someone I really liked was Liam Hemsworth who did a great job and stood his own between these action giants! Nan Yu as Maggie was also a good casting choice an did what she was supposed to do.

Aside from the "overdrive" action the film also had a lot of humor, which gave some counterweight to the action.

I hope, but quite frankly expect this will do really well in cinema's globally. As a long time Sylvester Stallone fan I can only hope that he (and his family) will find the strenght to overcome the loss of his son.

To the people who are going to see this extravanganza, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did!

This is a solid action packed sequel not my favorite I am fan of the first movie The Expendables (2010) but I like The Expendables 2 a lot. This and the first movie are good damn action movies, the third one sucks. It is a good sequel to the first movie. I like the film a lot manly for Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Nan Yu and Dolph Lundgren. This is my favorite Chuck Norris film, but still the film in my opinion does have some problems and some issues in the film that I don't like.

Heroes never die -the gang is all here Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Nan Yu, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis in a solid sequel.

I like some of the action sequences in this movie in the opening scene you have a lot of action in which The Expendables are on a rescue mission. I like the battle gun sequence with Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) and Yin Yang (Jet Li) firing Browning M2 machine guns mounted on Land Rovers during the opening gun battle. I like the action sequence in which you see a lot of fire power - automatic weapons. There is a lot of explosions battles good action sequences. You see Yin Yang battles with two cooking pans in a hands on soldiers kicking their buts, I like that. The shootout in the airport the finale battle sequences was great. Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Willis together shooting in the airport at Jean Vilain's army the Sangs is great. I like the finale fight between Stallone and Van Damme it was an epic battle.

I like the music score by Brian Tyler and I like the music song played in this film Beautiful Morning by Felix Cavaliere. I like Nan Yu as Maggie Chan I enjoy her acting performance she was the heart of the team. I like Bruce Willis as Church this is the last time we will ever see him in an Expendables movie again. It is Rated R for strong bloody violence throughout it is a bloody solid action flick in my opinion. Jean-Claude Van Damme was excellent as the bad guy Jean Vilain that's how you do it Van Damme. I love him in this movie and in Enemy Closer as the bad guy I love Van Damme's performance he is a bad-ass bad guy, he knows how to act. Sylvester Stallone is bad-ass, kick-ass hero as Barney Ross I love him in this movie. Chuck Norris was a bad-ass Booker "Lone Wolf" I love him in this movie. This is Chuck Norris favorite film of mine. Dolph Lundgren as Gunner Jensen is a bad-ass in this movie my father is a big fan of Lundgren, he loves the guy and so do I.

The problems and issues with the film I have: this film stole a lot of dialogues from different movies I did not like that. In the opening scene in which Expendables are driving with a vehicles you see written a line: "knock knock" that line was stolen from Predator. Stallone's line "That thing belongs in a museum." that was line from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I did not like Schwarzenegger in the finale with a machine gun looking like a Terminator in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. I did not like Schwarzenegger, Willis and Crews making fool out of them self. Crews mention he is going to terminate Schwarzenegger I did not like that. Schwarzenegger mentions Rambo and he keeps repeating his line from The Terminator famous catchphrase "I'll be back" and Wills says you were back enough and Schwarzenegger mention the famous catchphrase from Willis character John McClane - Die Hard "Yippee-ki-yay I don't like that.

I swear Van Damme's part of his voice is dubbed, because I know his voice and that is not how Van Damme talks. He appears 34 mins after the film started and when he talks and camera turns away that is not his voice, it is someone else. Chuck Norris voice is also dubbed for the most of the part that is not how those two guys talks. The fight scene between Scott Adkins and Jason Statham is disappointing because I see stunt doubles. Stallone with that hat looks like John Spartan with two guns from Demolition Man. he copy's his famous character. The final shootout between Van Damme and Stallone is copied from Seagal's Out For Justice in which Van Damme says I am out of bullets those are really issues with the film I have. Not enough Jet Li in the movie, he does not much in the film he is only in the first 10 minutes than he disappears for the rest of the movie that is disappointing and lacks in the movie.

I like more 80's and 90's action films that are better paced, better filmed without CGI effects this movie is an okay but The Expendables (2010) is my favorite action film of the three. The Expendables 2 is a fun action movie I like Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Nan Yu and Dolph Lundgren in this movie. My favorite action stars are Sylvester Stallone and Jean Claude-Van Damme. My favorite actions films of all time are: First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rambo, Hard Target, Cobra, The Terminator, Demolition Man, Predator, Aliens, Hard Boiled, RoboCop, Broken Arrow, John Wick 1, 2 and many more movies.
